A good and a strong health is not something that is sold at a grocery store but it is something that we have to create and also maintain at the same time. A good health is achieved by following a few collective patterns which are health related. If we follow this logic then we will also realise the importance of having a healthy lifestyle which will add to the benefits of having a healthy life. One can start with following the pattern of eating the right things at the right time and also exercising too. These healthy patterns will help to lead to reduced illness which in turn will also help save a lot of money that we turn up spending for recovering from various illnesses.

Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, your diet can help you to reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of chronic diseases (like heart disease and cancer), and promote your overall health.

Better health is central to human happiness and well being. It also makes an important contribution to economic progress! Healthy populations live longer, are more productive and save more.

Diseases caused by unbalanced diet.

People nowadays suffer from different diseases due to the food they eat. People rarely monitor their food forgetting that there are several diseases which one can suffer from. Some of the diseases due to unbalanced diet are
  • Obesity
  • Cardiovascular
  • Diabetes
  • Malnutrition
  • Osteoarthritis
From the interviews I carried out most people were  saying that they don't monitor their food. They only eat what they feel like eating at that particular time. One eat anything as long as he/she feel like eating that food stuff.  However some are already having medical problems due to their habits of eating, they now have rotten teeth because of contiuos eating of sweets; while others now have big bellies due to too much eating with lack of exercises.
On the other hand a few individuals do monitor there food. One lady said she make sure she doesn't eat too much fat in whatever she eats; meaning she can eat junk food as long as there are no fats. One guy stated that" I select foods I can and can't eat And their portions", the guy went on to say that he tries by all means to eat a balanced diet on each day.
This therefore shows that few individuals are monitoring the way they eat.
obesity
Is associated with unbalanced diet. If you don't balance your caloric intake with your level of physical activity you will gain weight and when this weight gain leads to an excessive amount of body fat,it leads to the point of increasing your body mass index and one will be considered obese.

cardiovascular
It is also associated with eating unbalanced diet. Diets that are high in fat, cholesterol and sugar and low in fruits, vegetables and whole grains tend to increase the risk of high blood pressure and high blood cholesterol. This increases the risk of both heart attack and stroke.
malnutrition
This is when the diet does not provide the body with all nutrients it needs to function optimally. Malnutrition occurs if your diet is deficient in one nutrient.
People we ought to monitor what we eat, try by all means to take a balanced diet meal on daily basis. Moreover people should do exercises jog , do stretches so as to avoid and stop some diseases and live a healthy life.
